Nice bunch of Gasser pictures. We had only a couple of olds racers in the early 50's I can remember and had some old shots of them but they perished in a fire. They really make a good looking gasser without a doubt. Thanks for posting.
I saw this car at the Woodward Dream Cruise a few years ago. Really cool BUT, when he started it up it was a big dissapointment. The motor sounded completely stock, if there was a lope in the idle, I couldnt hear it. Thumbs up to the guy that built and owns it. A very cool looking car. Just needs a little attitude to make it totally tits
My Pop used to love the 54 and 55 Olds , So I also got a bit of the Olds bug in me, I do remember that in the mid sixtys some of his stuff was pretty fast... I sure do miss him, You guys that still have your Dads need to call him just to say Hi.... Sorry didn't mean to get off center.... Love them Oldsmobiles , keep the pictures coming....
We saw this olds in Deadwood SD last weekend at Kool Deadwood Nites. It was just a quick snap out of my window and he was gone!
No straight axle as I need a more streetable combo. But the influence and desire are here...............
outcast13 - why would you tear up a perfectly good 66 post 442 to make a gasser? Use a Cutlass or better yet a F85 for that.
