Here is Shoezy with Olds side trim done 15 years ago.

 

makes those 1/4s look long. That and the chop. Cool car.

 

Yea , I was thinking the same thing - probably also cause it's a coupe ...

 

Here's some factory 50 crestliner trim..hard to find but it's out there.

 

The side trim was made from the large chrome strip from a 1952 Buick Special and a piece from a 1952 Oldsmobile 98 side trim. here are some piccs of Chucks car

You nailed it man. That trim and chop is perfect.
I hate to see a shitty chop. And the shoebox ford is almost always abused.

Also I have always thought the olds trim is perfect for the shoebox
