Depends on how its running, wether I'm working on it or If I've just busted a knuckle on it or not........Then I can come up with a string of names for it!

My car doesn't really have a name. I just refer to it as the coupe. I did consider calling it Jack, though.

The truck in my avatar is called Ole Blue. I've had it since 1973 when I inherited it from my grandfather. Years ago a friend asked how the ole blue truck was running and hence the name was coined:) Truck was my daily driver from 1974-1990. Sat from 1990-2007......then my son and I "rebuilt" it one more time. Just got it back on the road in 2010.

i have had this one for about 2 years, and just drove it 6,000 miles, and basically lived in it for 2 1/2 weeks. but i think the only name it will ever have is "dad's car."

  16. I name all of my cars, just kind of a habit I got into. I even name my friend's cars if I work on them for any length of time.

'48 F4 is Fred (I'm restoring this for a friend)
'50 F1 is Sanford (doing lots of work on it for another friend)
'57 Ranchero is Jesse (this one's mine)

    Hi Everyone,
Still building that first street rod....using a '50 chevy pickup cab.. Will be naming it "Little Red Tin Can II", after my Theresa's RX-7, which she named her "Little Red Tin Can"... She bought it for $100 from friends in Kansas City and fixed it up. I was so pleased to see her willing and able to turn a wrench on it. I have her RX-7 here now, as I lost Theresa to Pancreatic Cancer on Valentine's Day 2005...duane (NM Sandrail)

My 56 Chevy is called Felix since it's black & white and came from Felix Chevrolet.
My 51 Merc is called Mercules.I found out it was originally called Ol Shasta when I saw a small write up about my car in the 30th Anniversary issue of Car Craft. My wife calls it Old Rust. She came up with that name when she saw a Merc call Gold Dust at the Merc Gathering in Sacramento.

I some times call my T coupe "Daddy's little disappointment" mainly cause he was pretty upset with me when I bought it. now that it is road worthy he's cool with it.

  28. The 57 Chevy truck was the Green Monster.

As far as my current project (29 A truck), it depends on how she's treatin' me that day...
one day she can be: "Fu*%in' Bit*%", or "Mother Fu*#in' Sonuva Bit*%! Other days she can be, "My Baby doll"...
Damn! It's almost like bein' married...Oh...wait...I'm not anymore.:D
