Event Coverage September 11th us131 martin michigan funny car nationals

It is that time of year and on September 11th the Funny Car National at US 131 in Martin Michigan will be going on and it will have Great Lakes Nostalgia Alcohol Funny Cars, nitro cars, super charged thunder cars, Great Lakes Gassers. This is always a great show and for all of you going to the NSRA Street Rod Nationals North in Kalamazoo it would be a nice addition on Saturday night being that US 131 is just up the road. If you get a chance come on out.

How many days they running?

 

Saturday is the show and we will make 1 to 2 passes during the day but are making the main show runs at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.

I am looking forward to going and can't wait to meet guys from the H.A.M.B. This will be the first time that I am going and I am already excited for it. I will definitely be taking alot of pictures and video. Breaking the 500 picture barrier should be very easy. Matt

 

Its going to be a great show, and under the lights its a lot of fun, stop in and say high and grab a burger or dog.

Wish I could go, so much going on that weekend. Gasser Nationals at Thompson is where I will be. I am also missing NAMDRA nationals...You guys have fun under the lights!

Should be a good time, the weather is starting to look a bit better for Saturday so thats good. Fingers crossed for nice cool dry air.

Dad and I are going to try to make Milan. We have to get the boat out of the water next weekend, if we can't get it out of the water next weekend we will have to get it out the weekend of Milan. If it does not rain this weekend we will be at Milan next weekend. Matt
