    What types of rear suspension setups would have been common in the 1955-1965 range for a traditional style highboy

    64 mustang c notched frame leaf springs or an independant ,First one is under my 32 truck ,Jag rears were popular back in the day and quick changes ,,,,,,,,,

    Buggy spring and torque tube....Buggy spring and open driveline with '36 bones...lift bars and coils in buckets...radius rods with anything...torsion bars...
    Pretty much what you might find now other than coilovers and bags.

    50 years on we can be very selective in what we term traditional...but lets face it...some of those crafty buggers were doing things we would never class as traditional nowadays!
