Steve Morris built 377 SBC - F1 Procharger, Air-to Water intercooled. 1,100 HP on the "street tune" :D

Yep, and don't leave out Flamedabone... The Yahoo Cup holding Pontiac powered A. He drives it 1200+ miles one way to the HAMB Drags and lays it down, then drives home. That's BAD ASS...

Flamedabone is the holder of the Yahoo Cup, which means his mill is bad ass and gets used for real... the others are contenders...

no it doesn't, that thing is hideous...

  9. No digital video yet. Have only fired it with zoomies so far. Putting the chromed collector headers on it after I hook up the cooling system.
Maybe take her to Saguaro lake this coming week.

Going to run it some more to get time on it, recheck the valves, timing, misture, etc. The Hilborn injectors are like new with no play. The boat is a time capsule with original gelcoat, original interior, etc. Floors are very nice. I'll get more pics posted. Gonna work on it today some.

  16. Here's some of our mills....
#1: Ford 429 stroked and bored to 506ci, makes 550+hp/600ft lbs with basically stock iron Thunderjet heads.
#2: 327 Chevy stroked and bored to 358ci with a nos vintage Studebaker Paxton SN60 supercharger. Safe street tune at 500hp/500ft lbs.
#3: 283 Chevy with dual quads and original NOS Mondello heads. Makes 425hp on pump gas...not telling how though :D

I'm partial to Pontiac's but never the less I believe Steve Barcak has it won hands down with the Mickey Thompson Pontiac Hemi in the flatbottom boat. It just doesn't get any better or any rarer than that!!!!

Next is his fire breathing NITRO INJECTED 389 PONTIAC FRONT ENGINE DRAGSTER.

I'll get in line after that with my 66 GTO sporting a 535 ci real Pontiac currently runs 8.50's @ 160 on the 1000hp tune. Engine was dynoed to 1,300hp. They said anything after that was up to me

I know the big and ugly injecter isn't the "thing" here so please just look past that. Dil

What ? Nothin to say about Pontiac's aren't fast from all of the Cheby boys ?

  23. Why should we have an issue with Pontiac? FlamedABone drove 1600 miles one way to the HAMB drags ( and has been there for each one in this car) and ran a 10.98 this year with a blown Pontiac engine.

So ya just trying to pick a fight or just being a stupid newbie?

FWIW I drive a 31 Pontiac but she's got an early hemi.

I guess my vote would be for that Flathead that went 309 at Bonneville. That's bad ass for sure.

How about a blown and injected 377 backed by a super T-10 for a daily.

I sold it a few years ago....
