Here is my 56 corvette that my brother bought in 66-67 before he went into the service.The car sat around until 2004. I put it back together and drove it around for a couple of years in white primer with a crower injected big block (there is a picture of it at the labor day cruise in the old corvette thread on this site) In 2006 painted the car and put the hilborns on it ( got tired of all fake air cleaners that look like a crower manifold) The car now has a 511 4 speed with 456 gears the radiator is in the trunk a long with a extra fuel tank. The only limit to how far I can drive it is how much fuel I can carry. The car runs on alcohol never heats up runs fine on the street no problems.
