1940 Pontiac trunk hinges interchange ??

Was wondering if 39 chevrolet trunk hinges would fit a 40 pontiac sedan? The only hinges I can find are for a chevrolet and according the the measurments they should work. Just wanted to see if I could find out for sure... Thanks!

 

should work. I have the hinges off my '40, they need plating but you are welcome to them.

 

Chevs of the 40s sells new/repop hinges if the Chevy parts will work.
