Fella's.....I am brand new to this. I have a friend here in town that told me about your site, well I have bought a 1960 chevy 1/2 over a 1 1/2 ago. Short bed stepside, I have up graded the 235 to a 375 hp 350 and turbo 350. I have now collected a wide bed, new cab (old one rusty) and better fenders. I want to know what kinda color scheme to go with. The fella told me that someone on here can help me out with some pictures or what now.

    Thanks

How bad is the old cab and bed? Would be interested in getting rid of it?

It would seem to me that you need to first figure out what direction
you want to go in with your build.

The reason I say that is,

Its a old truck but the first thing you did was change out the motor to what everyone here will call a bellybutton !

Not that I care ,But a lot of folks here also are going to look at your tag name
    (Rad Rat)
and lets say, not have a to high of an opinion of your subject.

But like the FNG above said welcome aboard ,keep your fingers crossed and hold on .

We will see what kind of ride your in for.

Don't be hurt if anyone throws out some popcorn....

Color is way too personal a choice.....I couldn't decide, so I left my 55.5 Chevy truck in red oxide (PPG DP701LF) primer! I prefer the "low maintenance" aspect of primer anyway. Less time shinin, more time drivin. :D
