59 chevy station wagon rear a/c

    looking to add a rear a/c unit to my wagon. i was just wondering if any of you guys added a rear a/c to any wagon and how you hid the unit? did you use 1 comp or 2 ? thanks

    Some conversion vans had a small heater and a/c unit under the rear seat that could hidden easily in the storage compartment,dont need a extra compressor but just split the lines and tee the rear unit in.

    Toyota vans of the mid to late 1980's had two a/c and a fridge off of 1 Sanden compressor

    Use a 73-87 Suburban as a reference.

    i put an underdash unit in the spare tire well of my dad's 62 belair wagon and ran hose across for the driver side. just tee'd the hoses from the front unit. works pretty well, but i'm not in florida.
