    Talent is an amazing thing.

  8. i guess ya never looked at the rear of a topolino...if i tubbed mine, my tires would only be 5" shy of touching each other....:cool::cool:...and i seen wider tires on topo's before....besides, Fred only had issues with traction...stone tires just don't seem to bite very well:p:p:p:p:p

  9. As long as it gets better brakes than Freds :p:p

  10. dude, did ya ever look at Fred's toes???he's missin a couple..but they're some wide ass sum-bucs!!!!!

  11. Yea I'll probably need it here for a couple of years to make sure I get the butterfly right. :D:D

I agree, I sure wish I had some. Hell I almost gotta hire someone just to draw my name right.

Hi guys I got a visit today from the parts fairy. Funny thing he looked just like Flat top Bob. He swooped in and dropped parts in my truck and was gone. I think he might be related to Santa or he could be an alien. Martian maybe?

The oldsmobile rearend Panhead Pete & Ryan
    the NOS shifter Porkshop
    Bonus part
Spool for the olds rear Flat top Bob

Thanks guys The Invasion has begun!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far this thing is only going to have some atiquated olds rear drum brakes, may have to consider a parachute or an anchor.

NAPA has parts to up-date those Oldsmobile brakes. They will provide great stopping force, much better than Fred's toes.

And they should be much easier on the track than the anchor.

  19. i picked up a set of big finned drums for the olds housing under Lil Beast..thanks Frank!!....i was told that the olds rears have good stopping power for a drum brake setup.....but i did order the GM disc brake caliper setup with my Pete n Jakes/Super Bell front end ... i want to go like hell but also stop on a dime... i've driven enough drum/drum cars in my day...hated em on rainy days.......

  21. Pooch - PM me to Let me know how we can work out the custom Doug's Header's deal for you. Obviously you aren't too close to our Irwindale CA R&D shop :D
Worse case, I can send you bends etc and then you can mock them up and I'll finish them and get em coated.
