did a search didnt come up with much. few questions. i have 6 sets of early ford 39-48 brake shoes that i want to get relined. i could sandblast them and get them all taken apart and cleaned up and painted. but i want to know if i can buy new linings and a rivet kit? napa auto used to send them out to milwaukee but they said they dont do that anymore. does anyone on here do it? or can show me a link to a tech on it, and know where i can buy the stuff? or should i just sell the old ones and buy another NOS set?

I get mine from Mac's antique auto parts in New York. They're all over on Ebay too.

    Check out this company:

    http://www.rochesterclutch.com/

They have been in the clutch and brake business for a loooooooong time and I'm certain that they can help you. I'm pretty sure that they can also customize the brake shoes to give you linings that will be way better than stock type linings. Good people that know what they are doing. Modestly priced, too!

They supply Kantor's of New Jersey with all their clutch and brake needs.

    Good luck...

Many of the big truck shops can reline your old shoes. Check them out.

Sacramento Vintage Ford also has them, as well as wheel cylinders if you need them. 4TTRUK
