Great pics, keep them coming! We are recovering from one hell of a weekend at The Hayride!

  2. My pal's 1952 Dodge Wayfarer was our trusty ride for the 2000+ kilometre round trip... it ran like a champ and (almost) never missed a beat.

Forgive my ignorance but are those the stock taillights for that wayfarer? I've seen them used on a couple of mercs and think they would look good on my De Soto. Great pics. Thanks

The front bumper or lack of is way to cool. I have never seen this before.

@striper & Daisyduke: cool shots you got there! I still have to sort my trackside shots, I hope to put some of them online tonight

Well Brigadeer, what can I say. I fucked up. No-one's more pissed off about that than me!

Holy shit Mike. 8 weeks. I get home from the US on the Monday and Chopped starts on Friday. I haven't touched my car since last summer. I hope 4 days is enough prep time.

Have to say that I am really looking forward to Chopped after spending the weekend at the Hayride..I miss my car.

Sounds like you guys are making the trip again. Look forward to seeing you all.

    Back to the main program

    Pete

Can't believe how much bigger it was over last year, and if anything the quality has improved - the showfield needs to be bigger!

Lots of cool stuff posted, a few of my own efforts:

Does anyone know anything about this? Just oozed attitude, looks like an old MG grille, great attention to detail

And possibly my favourite piece of detailing..

I'd like to pretend I'm really this observant, but it was the Coop sticker that attracted my attention and only noticed the Rat Fink when reviewing the photos - not surprising given that the sticker is only 3" tall itself.
