maybe his is one of a kind...

how hard would this be to do? would the hood/cab/bed match up or would they have to be cut, welded, ect?

The model change-over from Art Deco to Advance Design happened in 1947. Which front end are you talking about? The Art Deco or Advance Design.

As for going fast, isn't that just basic hot rodding?

Cant be a 46 or older, they didnt come in 5 window prior to 1947.

  13. I saw one recently at a show (Good Guys Puyallup?) Custom put together ride, five window cab with earlier nose. Nicely done, but didnt really flow to well in my eyes.

Actually I think it was for sale at the Monroe swap meet.

That one's been around for a while. I got some photos of it at The Run to Roslyn a few years ago. Nice truck, I think he said he narrowed the cab several inches along with the other mods.

Looks like my photos of the truck are pre digital so I'll have to dig a bit.

Pieced together for sure, would take a fair amount of doing to get that cab to accept that front clip. I would have chosen something besides the 60"s style stepside bed.

I'd be delighted to see pictures. It sounds interesting but I'm sure isn't something I'm likely to contemplate doing.
