Rich, Thanks for all you did for our hobby, and for being a pal to a 16 year old punk kid in 1989. You will forever be with us in spirit. My thoughts and prayers go out to Penny and family...
The KKOA sends their condolences to the entire Pichette family. Thanks for all the "Kustom" memories. R.I.P.Rich.You are now in some great company.
The man who started my favorite show of all is gone but will be never be forgotten at least not by me. All my condolences to Penny and the entire Pichette family. Dave Hitch F.B.B.F.
I'm watching a video that Larry Watson made from 1991 (second year i attended) of Paso Robles. In the video it shows the Friday evening cruise in front of A & W Rootbeer - the Mejia Brothers cruising "Jav's" old 51 Convertible Merc. Paso was soooo cool - gonna miss it and Rich !
Tim and I will never forget the great times we all had at Sunnymead Burgers with Rich, Penny, Skip, Opal to name a few. The first year at Paso was awsome. Each year got better and better with Rich and Penny working so hard to make a great run. What history. Our deepest condolences from the Cannarozzi family. Cindy Cannarozzi
Thank You for all that you have done. Paso Robles was the epicenter for all things cool in Customs and Hot Rods and everything in between. It would be hard to image life without Paso prior to it's move to Santa Maria. I remember their website about them in the mid 90's and a photo of a girl pushing a car in the sand. Paso Robles changed everything for me..............My condolences to the family. Ken
I remember my first Paso with my daughter. I met Rich and Penny and in spite of the chaos of running a show they always took time to say hello. I never knew Rich well and it was only a few years after meeting him that he began to get ill but I really respect Penny for all she has gone thru dealing with caring for Rich and still keeping the show alive. What a woman! I know that for me the Paso experiance really shaped my tastes in shows and cars. Really a magic thing it was. Thanks Rich and Penny. Penny, We are here for anything you may need, just ask. John Mearns and Cynthia Best

The Pichett's have always included the Deans in there family. The lost of Rich hits close to home. God bless!
R.I.P. Rich. Thank you for all youve done. Paso was definately a life changer. He and Larry must be working on one hell of a cruise up there...
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Penny and her family. Rich is one of those guys that really made a difference. Like Brian said above, the Lone Star Roundup would not exist w/o Rich's vision and influence on us Kontinentals. Rich and Penny show us all how to do it right and we are grateful for the lesson. Rich will be missed by so many. Rest in peace. Steve
Rich and Penny have been "family" to me ever since the first Cruise at Lake Nacimento. I applaude Rich for getting the Kustom movement going again and I'm especially proud of Penny for keeping it alive! My deepest condolences to Penny and the entire Pichette family. We'll never forget Rich! Steve Doll West coast Kustoms #58
Rich, you brought back the pleasure of the hobby and will always be remembered for your creation of the WCK and Paso... Prayers to your family....
My condolences to Penny and the entire family. Rich did so much for all of us kustom car and traditional rodding enthusiasts. He and his family have suffered a lot with his illness these recent years, thankfully some of that suffering is ending. He will be missed by so many for all he has done.
