God Bless Larry Watson as he was one the best car and motorcycle painters in the world and he will always be missed. In the last few years we have lost many of our original car, motorcycle, builders and painters and I know God will provide them with a special place in Hot Rod Heaven.

RIP larry. If it wasn't for seeing a pic of grapevine with the scallops as a kid I may never have gotten into this hobby...

Damn, sorry to read this. I've been wanting a Watson style paint job for years on my caddy. Thoughts out to his family and friends of which I can assume he had many.

RIP, I have two signed posters that Larry's son gave to me because I couldn't make it to his and Winfields show, wish I could have been there to meet him.

Shame, he was a true artist. I'd venture a guess that his work was the most copied style ever. His scallops were killer. RIP man.

Yep whenever I lay out a set of scallops or flames I always think to myself "What would Larry do?". Thanks for the inspiration.

  29. Wow, sorry to hear that because he inspired many people, I have one sitting in my garage. My best wishes to his family and friends.
