Ok,so this coupe was headed for scrap yard and i just couldn't see it through,so i bought it cheap and drug it home.It was sitting on a model a chassis that was extended at one time,it really looks like this car was a 50-60's hot rod.it had a roll bar in it and a sprint car style cowl steering box mounted on the frame right in front of the fire wall, fire wall was cut for steering box.It had a 40's ford dropped front axel with 40's brake drums. But as you can see it is eat up with rust and i don't know what to do with it.I have a good extra cowl with good fire wall and a good sub frame set up.I would need 2 good doors. Is it worth the trouble.

If your good with welding and making panels for sheetmetal, I'd say go for it. A 4x8 sheet of sheet metal goes along ways when it comes to replacement panels.

Whoever was gonna crush that thing needs to be locked away for several years.

She's worth saving. If you don't think you're up to fixin her, then I'm sure someone on here will gladly give her a new home. You did the right thing by saving that car.

Now that looks like an awesome project. Just clean it up, find a nice little corner of the garage and chip away at it. If you're not so good at panel forming now, you will be by the end of it. Nice save. Now let the real work begin.

  13. That's awesome! It's already got flames too!

It's only metal, make us proud.

It would take a complete idiot to junk a model A anything, let alone a coupe.
    I can't believe some people! Awesome save,man.
On a serious note,if it doesn't seem worth the trouble, let me know and I'd be glad to take that "scrap" of your hands. For $350 you stole the damn thing!

Someone years ago took the time to chop it, to me metal work is value in itself...glad you saved it, it'll take a lot of work but in the end you are saving history.
