I have a 36 Chevy Sedan that is missing the original serial number plate that was attached near the battery box on the passenger side floor. I would love to see a picture of an original, hear about what it was made of and see what attached it to the floor. Can anyone share a good picture and some information?
    thanks
    Jeff

I get alot of info for my '36 from the [email protected]
it's only '36 chevy people on there. you might have to start a yahoo account if you don't have already. I had to do a vin# verification on mine at DMV/CHP.cause of the missing tag also.

Can somebody show us a pix of their original vin plate? I (we) want to see what they looklike, how they are tamped, and so see how thay are placed. If you have to hide a number or two for securuity , thats understood. Please show us?
