Event Coverage PHOTOS: Goodguys CRUISE TO COLUMBUS!! On the Road and CHECKING OUT SHOPS!!

Doing Des Moines this year opened up the opportunity to do the Cruise to Columbus. The group that went was made up mostly of hot rodders who had done the trip many times. They all treated me like family and I got to ride in a different car each day. Here's what I saw...

On the way to Troy's shop we caught a glimpse of Ryan's new ride! It's the feature car for his new website donkjournal.com.


Then we hit Troy Trepanier's shop. Not HAMB stuff, but serious skills all around. Check out the killer oval holes. Troy is now selling a three size oval punch kit.

 

This kid showed up in this big pedal car. Working lights and horn!

Some serious metal work going on at the Roadster Shop. That cat apparently kicks out some mean tin when he isn't napping.

 

Nice shots as always.The tubing work on that nailhead looks interesting.

 

Great shots, looks like they are doing some really clean retrofits there, there shop is cleaning then my kitchen!

 

They run to the trunk where the radiator is. Gotta love a cool Nailhead!

Apparently they are May Flies or Fish Flies. They were all over the town we stopped in - LeClaire, IA. They were creepy.

 

That T rpu is the coolest thing ever. EVER!
