another newby

Hello, have a 46 Desoto sedan that had a poorly done 283/pwr glide combo. Have yanked them as they were totally worn out to begin with, but running. I plan to put in a 440/727 combo from a 55k mile rv. Would really like to get with some who have done this combo. I know over the years that I have seen other Mopars with this set up. I always thought it was a neat oddity. I love all makes of old cars and plan to do this one as semi traditional sort of ratrod. Let me know or send someone else the info.
