Happy Canada Day to all brother hot rodders. No day off here, spent the day working on the "Budster" '32 Ford, trying to get it ready for a customer to take to the Nationals in Moncton . Hope to see some of you there.
Here we are at CANADA DAY, ZWICKS PARK Belleville. Bob Bosma's 63 Ford on one side and Mike Sietsma's 41 Willys Hemi Powered Gasser on the other sandwich my 63 Dodge Max Wedge. This was Mike's first trip to town in his gasser and it went off without a hitch. Later we went to A&W . Mike said the engine never went above 180 even in traffic. A cop followed hi all the way down one street along the river staying just in the blind spot bt he must have been satsified because after a bit of a look over he pullled alongside and turned the corner leaving Mike to drive on alone. We were both behind and saw the whole thing. Mike was unaware. (probably a good thing. )
