Thanks Jim... Had an incredible ten years of fun with the car, it will leave a void to be sure. Time to move on and do something new....

I posted this on the wrong thread so I have had another go.
It is or was a 52Dodge Coronet X 4door sedan. It came into New Zealand in 61 from American Samoa right hand drive. As far as I know it is the only 52 Coronet in NZ so I chopped it:)

  14. I owned this 54 wagon for a time back in the 1970s.....it was a nice
stocker with factory overdrive. A guy bought it from me, parked it
and it sat for 30 years or so deteriorating. Ended up a couple years ago
at this place in Diamond, MO. Someone bought it - maybe from the Kansas
City area.....don't know if they might be a HAMBer. Would be nice to see it
    rejuvenated.

Had a 50 Wayfarer convert in the 1960s....finally sold it to a collector in
    Penna.

Even had a 51 DeSoto hardtop with factory air back then........drove it
around a while and sold it. They were just nice "old cars" back then.

My current car is in the avatar, and older than the scope of this thread.

  20. Lots of awesome cars in this thread! Thanks to all for sharing.

Where can one find floorpans for a Mopar of this vintage? I know where there is a Plymouth for sale cheap, but the floors are totally gone.

    Thanks!

    Hi 50Freak,

I cut Freds stock frame up a little bit.......grabed some 2x4 bok tubing and made it the way Mopar should have done it in the old days. Fresno isn't that far away, drop by the shop and we have lots of build pictures you could look at and lots of other cars "in the build" Fred would probably let you take his for a cruise. Has a Jasper 360, Richmond 5spd, Dana 60.....just what you need to have a little fun.

Rock Auto sells them and pricier versions are made by the Plymouth Doctor.
