  5. I love this car !!! No matter how many times I have seen this car I just cant stop drueling over it. It just flows and has the look. It even has the stainless back on around the windshield just like they used to do it back in the day. This car is breathtaking.

Recent photos taken at Santa Maria Wck. Finishing the metal work at this time. Should be ready to prime next month. Lots more pictures on the Rikster site under Paul Bragg.

Yours is the nicest chop I've seen on a very difficult body. Mine is going to stay stock bodied......

It spent 35 years in a field were it was parked in 1963 with 89,000 miles on it's original, untouched engine.

Pulled out of the Saskatchewan country side in 1997 it had it's original all steel body with only a few spots of former lead work (drivers door was scarred)

    $4 for generator brushes
$7 for starter brushes and end plate bushing
$20 for fuel pump rebuild kit
    $28 for carb rebuild kit
    $55 for a 6 volt battery
    $5 for gas
and at least $7 for beer
    -----

$126 in total to get it running
    another $25 for epoxy primer
and some rims robbed from my old Ford truck.....

Today the Flathead V8 is puttering along with about 95,000 miles on it's untouched engine and it runs great (with almost no oil pressure) in spite of sitting for 3 and a half decades on the inhospitable Saskatchewan tundra.

Hello, I too have a 41 ford coupe hence the rodman41 moniker.
My 41 is a work in progress .I bought it finished but like everything I own I blew it apart, after a frame failure while on an americruise back in 2000.
It now has a new chassis ,new floors, new motor and I would like to fix the chop,I hate the quarter windows they look like sportster fuel tanks. The color was also a source of much heckling{ pink and green} ladies loved it but dudes gave me never ending shit. I really like some of the 41's on this post .I dont have any pics tonite and since these posts move so quickly it probabaly wont matter by the time I get some tomorrow.

How is your stainless side trim, Rob Lee on here is junking a 41 tu-door body that he hauled out of a field, salvaged all the dash, running gear, column stuff, some of the ribbed stainless was good. P.M. him b-4 it goes to the iron pile if you are in need. Good luck with your project bro. ~sololobo~

  28. This is my 41' convertible as it was in 62' when I bought it from Ron Fletcher of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and as it is now. Would love to know the early history of this car. Anybody recognize it? It was candy apple red back in the day.

There's some neat stuff here! I just came across this thread while searching for another photo I saw a while back....apparently on another thread that I can not find. Do any of you remember seeing a white '48 Ford business coupe with Kelsey Hayes wires, white walls, and chrome headers poking through the sides of the front fenders......a black and white photo....looked to be real early '60's? Any help finding this photo would be greatly appreciated! Ed
