Ok so i just bought a 58 Mercury Medalist and unfortunately im havin some tranny troubles. The bearings are goin out so when i let off in first it gives off a nice whining noise. The motor (312 V8) still runs strong but im thinkin about either replacing or repairing the trans. If i replace it i would probably just go with an automatic if thats possible.Repair might not even be worth is. Could i get some input?
Also need a front windshield, front passenger window, and some of the chrome if anyone has any of that.
