Tieing up loose ends is the order of the day at the moment. Seen it before but heres my seat varnished and painted. A '36 boot prop is a perfect fit for a '36 seat prop too! Headlights finished.
i do not wish to hijack your post but the other 36 that came with it ,is body off frame, painted hope to be back rolling by next weekend, body just about done . the hayride is my goal too
No problem with the hijack. Its cool to see how your progressing as well. The Hayride is a target. How realistic that target is is another question though.
Clark, do you have a photo series of you bicycling the A coupe, on your wall? are those seat back hinges reproduction? I guess anything would work..... Zach
Great build. I love the ride height. Generally, it seems folk overly lower these cars, you got it right.
Well done Clark. You could've put a blanket over those bare seat springs for your poor old dad though!
Thanks guys. Its all a blur at the moment as it happened so fast it hasn't really sunk in that its driving. Just stock cast iron manifolds at the moment. Getting the system fitted next week hopefully He got an old carpet tile to sit on. What more would you want?!?
So so so so sooooooo awesome! Nothing sounds better than a flathead. Yours sounds pretty healthy. Congrats to you. I've enjoyed the progress.
Quality Clark, pure quality. But then I wouldn't expect anything less having seen your previous stuff. Can't wait to see it in the flesh....er..steel....ah you know what I mean
Clark thats awesome! And too funny as I drove my car too for the first time on friday too! Hadn't been on the road in 40 plus years. -Shiny
