Home Made Track T PU Box

Just got a new Brake from ENCO and took the plunge on building a pickup Bbox for my T roadster p/u build. Just waiting on the rivets to arrive to finish it. Its about 29 inches wide and 31 inches long. Plan on an all metal tonneau with a 3 bar gas cap protruding through.

Very cool! Did you make the gas cap as well?
How thick of material did you use on the box?

 

where did u get the gas gage? good work on the bed , looks killer.

Terrific work - much better than a bought in repro steel or fibreglass unit.

Is that gauge a direct mechanical unit? I have one from a Cessna Birddog in the Fordson tank on my modified.

Gas cap is a large stainless connector from a dairy fitting with stainless wings tigged on.
