Fuel pressure to Stromberg on a Nailhead

I have a 56 Buick Special with a 322 Nailhead (stock). It has a Stromberg WW 7-105A carb. It has an electric fuel pump. I put a fuel pressure gauge in line and have 8 psi at rest and about 5+ WOT. What pressure should I be pushing to that carb? I'm thinking 8 psi it too high?

 

Set it at 3-4, and go from there.

Or less. Most 2 bbl strombergs are 1.5 to 2 psi

 

2 - 2.5 p.s.i.

 

Stromberg specified 5 psi on the later carbs.
