I like it a lot. The only thing that I would change might be the positioning of the alternator, but I'm not sure if you really had anywhere else you could have put it based on your set up. Allen Grove makes brackets so you can put it darn near anywhere around your engine. It's not a turn off in any way, the way you have it.....I might at least swap out the stock fan/pulley on it for a nice chrome/polished one sans the fan. That little fan is the only thing that really sticks out and doesn't go with the clean look of your ride.

All this coming from a guy that's never built a rod like yours....that and a nickel *might* get you a cup of coffee! ;)

KUDOS!!!! I'd be damn proud of it.

Hmmm....I think you're right...maybe chop about 4-6" out of it? I see what you're saying. I think it's all nitpicking, though. It's his ride, but then again, he DID ask for everyone's opinion, right? ;) Now he *does* have enough for that cup of coffee!

Hey man, thats cool as. its great to see an unsual rod too, real nice to see something different.

being thyis is already a thread about '26 chryslers... heres a bit about my project.

i got a '26 tourer i am making an RPU out of at the moment. its pretty rough but i dont care. i dont have all the skills in the world and i am trying to do the build on the cheap (the plan is to keep it all under 5k AUD)

    Tourer sedan = $2000
i steeled it out with 35mm x 35mm rhs ($100 ish bux) - i know its overkill but i am building it to last.
recessed and welded in repop model A hinges $135.
    mini bear claws. $89
Holden Torana Column $50 + $30 for extra uni.
    Holden HK front end $30
    Holden HQ rear end $90
    Holden VL man-rack $160
Slant 6 w/slant k frame from VC valiant, w/ 3 Speed manual floor shift $FREE WITH CAR, floor shift was $50
bench seat from some kind of nissan van i found on a dude's front lawn one day when i was working he sold to me for $50.
Camira Radiator i got for free from a mate.
no tray or floor yet. Will probably get those free of a mate aswell.
    Valiant Speedo $6.
chopped the screen and posts down about 5 inch..

from parts the car came with i have made money backon:
Orig driveline and assorted parts and unwanted junk = $450
    5 x 20" wooden wheels, 4 restored, w/ 5 new tyres = $800
New or Restored honeycomb Radiator = havent sold yet, expecting $700.

granted its going to be rough, and its going to have *gasp* IFS on it but ehhhhh. i'll enjoy it. probably alot more than those guys that spent half a million bux on a copy of a copy of a car in a mate's magazine. Plus being a budget rod i wont freak out about getting my car wet/dirty/trashy/whatever

    :)
i'd get some pics but theres not much to look at right now... ha
