  7. Went out to look at my buddy's RPU again last night, I think he's ready to do something with it. (I told him to try and get it going for the Eagle Field meet in Oct. :p) Anyway I took some better pix of the wheels so you guys can identify them. The car is not too bad, sure there is some rust but all in all not a bad start.

You are a true friend . Keep us posted.

  9. Tim, That's awesome.. Got him convinced to put a Y-Block in it yet? I always love to see Model As and Y-Blocks.. Wheels look like they're off of a mid-30's model.. Are they 16"?

  10. I think they are 16" and no to the Y-Block I think he wants to install "Gasp!!!" a SBC. Just because he has one. I would like to see a Flat V8 or even build the Banger, but alas it is his vehical. Another friend said Nailhead, I'd go for that. ;)

They also look cool with a 392... :D

  12. IHC? No way. :p (Just kidding, I assume you mean the other 392 ;))

  13. Todd, the guy who owns the RPU, called today and told me he has a line on a 331 Hemi, I'm thinkin' that would be pretty cool! :)

That trumps all the free shit I have ever received...WOW! I am happy for you!

  15. Update! My buddy got a little ambition and decided he wanted to drive his new toy to Eagle Field, so he pulled it out, got it running and gave it a new set of tires. i don't know where he is going from here but he didn't do too bad in a short time.

  16. Holy crap....he already got it going? That's cool, man!

  17. No more talk of the Hemi, although that would be cool I think he wants to build the Banger. I think it's time he came over to the HAMB.

I always take free stuff. I wouldn't have turned it down. it looked like it had been sitting 50 years but it turned out good. very nice job so far.
