One day, I'd love the opportunity to shake that man's hand and say thank you. Howard Gribble's photography filled in the blanks for alot of us. He captured that great period of time from '67 to '75. A period I'm very fascinated with and one that doesn't have much visual documentation when it comes to lowriders/boulevard cruisers/street customs. Not only did he photograph them, but he built them. The man is an inspiration.

Jae, thanks man. I'm looking forward to meeting you too and having you see the car. But I've seen some of the stuff you've photographed....mine isn't flawless like some of those Lifestyle cars. :)

Groucho, nice score dude! I always wondered why you sold the orange one. I'm glad you picked that up. Now don't turn around and flip it.:D So, can I come to your house and get some help welding in those cups? I've told a couple people about your idea and they said they've never seen it. I think we can make it work. Got a plasma cutter?

    well said!

  3. I had big regrets selling the orange one, and have pretty much been looking for one ever since. It's a keeper, next to the Vette and my 38. I do not have a plasma cutter. But, I'll help any other way I can. I think the first thing is to draw it out as best I can for you so it's clearer than me just talking about it. Plus, you can show it around to the other guys. Maybe they HAVE seen it? Oh the cups don't have to be welded in.

My daily, I dig this car so much. My kids love riding with me and it puts your head back in older days, not a bad thing I think.

You could try finding a magazine agent that does mail order overseas. I don't know that LRM does overseas subscriptions.

Hell yes, love the tru-spokes with thin whites, and the astro supremes with the same type of tire. I've always dug low riders, especially the impy's, but my new favorites are the 63,64,65 buick rivieras. Damn those things look SO clean with a set of supremes, flaked paint, and sittin on the ground. Praise the Lowered!!

Lunatic i love that! i dont think ive ever seen it.....a real glasshouse :D

  26. True that! I wonder how that roof panel holds up under the torsional stresses when the car is raised & lowered. Opposite corners especially, seems like it could pop out easily or crack the glass
