master cylinder help

    i got this set up for the gasser...was told is of 70 chevelle...
    i was running the brakes lines and found that one outlet on the proportioning valve is a diff line size...not much big deal exept wich line goes to rear? i figured the 2 bigger fitting went front but now not sure..

    any ideas to what this is truley off? looked at chevlle masters and they looked diff..

    also has what looks like these numbers on bottom..

  2. Those numbers usually will not get you shit. Your only hope would be a Hollander since they do not show in the brake books. Why take a chance with crappy old valves? Plumb it with a modern Hold Off valve from ECI or a Meter/Prop valve from them so you know what you have.

    They are different sizes so the factory lines can't be installed wrong. big reservoir goes to the front circuit, 1 in, 2 out. rear circuit is one in, one out.

    go to a used car lot, look at a 1980 hoopty. or an older chevy truck, they are all similar on gm.

    70 Camaro had that set up. I would ditch it and put in an adjustable rear valve.
