OK there's a whole lot more to that car then when you first see it. You didn't just do a chop/hack job.. you did an awesome job...A-1 Quality. And when I see what you did underneath and the entire setup, this is a quality job... Wow! Not only do you do great work, but it's definitely motivation for the work I'm doing on mine.... and it's nothing compared to what you did with yours. Fantastic job there guy... I'm truly impressed.
Man what a cool car! Great interior! Love the dash and steering wheel. Perfect chop as well. Very impressive.
Wow!!! Thanx guys..its great to hear all the killer feedback, I cant take all that credit though, 3 of my good friends helped my ass out alot with this thing, they also tried to steer me in some directions I should have taken so I would not be cuttin all that shiny shit up rite now!! Yes Catbox, StreetRodder last month.Thnx! Yesterday was parts running and picking up steel for the new the cross new crossmember and trailing arms. great job Eric, seeing the build pictures are killer, catch you this summer,Greg and I re-powered the 49 pontiac with the mystery motor... later
Looks very good. It looks like you had a half-decent car to start with. Do you think that's better than starting with a real basket case? I'm just curious. Anyway, the car looks great and I hope you have a blast blazing around with that 383.
Well I got the car from Jersey so it was still and east coaster but in good condition, It had rot in all the normal places from salt/sand build up. The front right was hit pretty good at somepoint in its life but all in all it made the build easier even tho there was still alot of repair. The fenders are off a 54 I found stripped in AZ. The body was in pretty good shape tho. So yes it was worth having a decent car to start this build. Had it been in amazing condition I would not of cut it as I dont believe in doing so. (I had one of the nicest 32 Chevs u will find and made sure it did not get cut!) Made part of the I beam cross member today and machined out bushing sleeves for the front of trailing arms..tomorro build arms and more of crossmember! Gotta remember the camera!
Mystery motor hugh?!! Cool!! Whens Greg havin one of those bashes he talked about? Ill catch you guys soon bro!
I don't have much to give but i'd like to offer this wallet and key chain to go with your car. I think you will see they're a perfect match.
