My first cool ride circa 1970/Show yours

I finally decided on my avatar this is my 1965 Schwinn Stingray Deluxe as seen on my 7th birthday on june 12 1970. I know stingrays have been covered here before so I hope this is not too far off topic. Let's see your first cool ride be it a bike,go kart, motorcycle car or truck.

 

damn one fine bicycle for that little fella back then . love it . mine was some sears p.o.s.

 

Wish I had a pic of mine......... 1973 Schwinn DeLuxe Sitng Ray, coaster brake, Lemon Yellow. Had the chrome half fenders, thin white stripe tires and "gripper slik" rear tire. I LIVED on that bike for a couple of years. Here's the only part I have left from it.....

When I got interested in old bikes I dug the bike in the photo out of the barn. It was shot but I have the original frame and shifter for a restoration project.

 

better get after it. old bikes rule. kept me afloat with cash while i was out of work sold some neat ballooner and about 5 krates. i miss them. you still have your old bike how cool is that.
