Event Coverage Dragfest 2010 pics

What? no pic threads about Dragfest yet? Here are a couple pics I took over the weekend. sorry for the crapy pics and all of the same three cars, lol. Have any more feel free to add more.
Here is before we left, me and weeks having a little fun trading cars. here is me driving the put put and you can see the shadow of my T.

You guys cracked us up all weekend. if that poor ol' A-bone had a good tune up, you MIGHT have rolled it... I stopped by your T a few times, but never found you guys.

 

Someone thought it was funny to put some race numbers on my car, until it wont come off. Rust sucks that stuff in, I tried every thing. Its all in good fun, guess I will be painting it sooner than I thought.

Does the purple coupe even run? Will it actually go down the track? Are there any pics of it in action?

I do for some reason like this car. Looks mean but does it back it up?

 

Believe it or not, Merc Bill, it passed tech!! But it didn't make a pass that I saw...

 

Yes, the Purple People Eater runs, and yes, it has made several passes at the track...there's several threads here on the HAMB about it, and a couple YouTube vid's...and, it looks like Marky installed a new pair of the 18" Radir spindle mounts...

 

It was going to make a EX pass but it got linedup and every thing when the limited slip unit they put on the day before wasent working. Here is a pic I forgot of the slowest ET of the weekend, 34 seconds at 39 miles an hour, lol

Too bad you didnt catch us too chat, we had a blast. You talking about when me and weeks were out doing donuts, or trying at least, in the field in the A. It is soo tall it got scary for a little. Yeah it has a single downdraft with a 97, it needs to be jetted down it is soo over carburated it just fouls out and bogs.

 

Well, next time you and weeks should stop by the Viper's Pit for a barleypop.

yea I've seen the you tube stuff, I want to see a real pass not idleing around a parkinglot.

Ive heard its made some passes I just havent seen a single one.

had a great time, met alex gambino real quick (he was busy makin jingle) bought some flake from him for my top. had a great surprize on sat. afternoon. got a trophy for best pinstriping. thanks diablo you da man!
