Hey guys... Been tossing around the idea of hopping on here because I've heard so many good things about it. Enjoy talking and reading about hot rods, whether they're painted, rusty, or in the process. Will probably be picking some brains and tossing some random thoughts out there to see if I'm on the right track at times. Hope you don't mind another tagger-along. I'm attaching a pic of my ride, a 1952 Plymouth Cambridge with a stock flathead six with three on the tree. There's a fresh amateur paintjob on her this spring. She's glossier than I was looking for, but am happy with the finished product. Eric
Welcome here from another M gander.Like the looks of the car shiney or not.Did the smallie come outta the bay?
Welcome, Nice car. Do they still meet at Green Acres Plaza on Friday or Saturday nights in the summer. There used to be a good turnout.
Thanks for the welcomes, guys. The bass? Not from the bay. Caught off Drummond Island, off the east tip of the U.P. Green Acres? I haven't seen anyone there on Friday nights since the new Kroger went in, but I have recently heard that people are planning on heading back there on Friday nights this summer. There is also a little cruise-in at the Advance Auto every Monday night starting May 3. That's the Adv Auto near the corner of M-46 and River Rd in Shields (west of Saginaw a bit). Thanks again for the notes. E
Should be there Sunday. Even with the rain and such, I'm planning on a run out there. What time is registration?
Welcome from Arkansas. Nice looking Plymouth. "Saginaw Michigan", my all-time favorite Lefty song.....
Welcome from Toronto, Ontario. That is a nice smallie, 3-4lbs. For me fishing is pretty high on priority list as well, another hobby to keep me away from everyday chores.
looks like we got rained out today, they sent me a message and said it'd be now held on May 16th day after Michigan Billetproof
Welcome from Pittsburgh! Just went past your place (saginaw) twice! Up on friday, back on saturday. Went to Rogers City to pick up an engine. Nice car!
