Been planning this trip for awhile now since hearing about it, and really looking forward to it,,,coming from Ontario, Canada so its definetly a trek....hopefully meet up with alot of you going,,,as i recognize a few names from different sites

Yea, for the drags, just to spectate though, and to meet some friends from Oklahoma...we dont get much nostalgic racing over here, so figured it would be cool,,,you guys have alot of neat stuff over there. We will be cruising down in my 30 A coupe which should make it interesting.

 

Man.....I hate that. I can't ever remember anything! LOL Yeah, Dad will be with me and a few others from the DC site. Come by our little camp and say hello.

10 more days, I can't wait..........I invited my brother to come with me and he said Fred, do you realize that is a rough place to go to............I told him ever thing was in good shape, things aren't like we hear they use to be....

he use to race out there in the 60's while I was in the Navy, I told him it would bring back a lot of good memories so I hope he will come, I even offer to pay his admission...............

We have a local supporter that has come forward and offered a crisp 100 dollar bill to the guy or gal in the finals that gets the closest to there final dial in. One winner of this out of the final class runs.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this 100 dollars may grow as the day unfolds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

test and tune will begin at 10am. The 1st round of eliminations will begin at 12:45.

This time next Friday were gonna be smokin some hides down the track, please remember we got Friday night test and tune also

 

a little rain in the forecast for Thursday night and Friday next week, Sat looks good so far, still a few days away so the weather folks might not have a good idea yet.........................we need it but I hope it holds off for the big race..

Well the week has come, got mother taken care of for Mothers Day, Now its the countdown to the event,

Reminder, track is open Friday for test and tune and camping at track. All camping is self contained, etc.
