Here's my '63. I'm the 3rd owner... car has 97,000 miles on it and is all original. Except for the suspension, paint, and tires.

The day I brought her home.

I tried hard not to say anything about it........

I still think you did a great job with it.

Here is my wife's 4-door survivor, an SS I had and my 58 (almost Impala)

 

My '58 Belair from a KKOA Sledscene East show, about 25 years ago. Because of the stainless window posts, lots of people mistook it for an Impala, even though the Impala was completely different from the windshield back. Same styling, but every panel was different.

Hard to believe now, but back then almost nobody wanted '58s. All my buddies razzed me and asked why I wanted such an ugly car with a truck motor (348)! But the 1958 model was the one I had wanted since seeing Andy Southard's car in a magazine as a kid.

Here is the car.... here is the plan, the pipes are already mounted and I just lowered it this week, next I'll do the wheels and shave the tires for the poor boy wide whites. (The cool picture is a photoshop by a hamb member.)
