    Great show again this week.
    A coupe things this week.
First one is a piece for my show at Gasoline on April 10th. I call this one "Take the Bitter with the Sweet". Done in oil. The guy with the gun is actor Ross McCall from the HBO mini series Band of Brothers.

And this is the helmet I'm working on. I am also way behind on it. Doing some more Dark City mayhem. Gonna put a rod and a gangster on the other side.

Curiously, do the bombs represent 'missions' (road trips)? I have a tin sign around here somewhere printed with Olivia's Betty Page painting. I love her/it.

So, you're probably familiar with the Grumann OV-1 Mohawk? Seems like the ANG had 4 or 5 OV-1Ds, even a couple women pilots. Badass twin turbo-prop built for VietNam.

BEFORE PHOTO useless update- of the wall of ugly electrical panel boxes in my new studio, now hidden by my 'sliding " 8 & 6 " mural..

AFTER PHOTO useless update- In 1999, I commissioned a very talented artist, Lukas Allenbaugh to paint a mural on my new (drive in) photography studio's garage door
    ( inside of course ).
I hand picked the overall design & Lukas tweeked it here & there perfectly.
I use to scoot around in a 1991 BRG( British Racing Green) Miata. Our two lovely daughters ( 8 & 6 ) were fast growing up, so fast I figured, I would be playing 'catch up ' in no time ! My only requirement to Lukas was," when I parked my car in the studio, I wanted to see "8 & 6" in my rear view mirror !
    Lukas really delivered & our mural " 8 & 6 ", came to be.
Years later when I sold the building, I only thing I wanted to take was "8 & 6". I moved that garage door several times, until yesterday. I've scrounged parts & pieces of sliding door trak from ' Waste not, Want not ' here in P.T.
I removed all the garage door hinges & such, then fabricated some sheetmetal to hold it together.
Finally, I touched up the paint where the moves & years have been unkind.
All this to hide a wall of ugly electrical panel boxes & to honor two wonderful daughters, and to thank one talented artist..

Sinclair, I've really been enjoying how good you're getting. You always had the elements of a unique style and in this last half year it seems you're putting it all together - style+originality+overall design+craftsmanship. Thanks for posting these cool silkscreen images.
