Finally made it, I thought that name looked familiar. How are you doing on the van?

    um... slowly. :D
It's been waiting for wiring for months, but is nearly ready to go. I hardly get any time in the garage anymore. I have some brake leaks which may be due to bad flares, so I may have to redo a few lines. I need to bend up some doghouse side, but that's about all that's left to make it driveable. I'm hoping to get it to our Hunnert Car Heads-Up race in May.

I suppose I should post in this one too huh.

I flipped the stock axles front and rear on my econoline. I also put a 1" block under the front. It does turn lock to lock in the front with me sitting in it. It isn't running and driving at the moment, so I dont know how it will be with that, but hopefully soon. I will be putting some lift shackles on the rear to get it back up and inch or two to level it out. But the good thing is that there is progress being made.

    Later,
    Chad

    Hi,

I've got a 65 5 window pickup that I am rebuilding. I have it stripped of everything and am doing body repair now. I have a 240 ci and 9 inch rearend getting ready to go back in to replace the old 170.

I got the lift shackle on the rear last night. Now it sits nice and level.

Here is a pic. of my 64 fresh from California. Started taking it apart this week for restoration. It is a complete truck with a very dry rust free body.:) Plans are for a retro style hot rod but always open to sugggestions.

i used to own(15 yrs ago) a 69 econoline 2 tone gold with aluminum slots 50's in the back 60' up front used to drive it to work at raynor garage doors. i got tired of the cops pulling me over all the time so i sold it a few years later and been trying to find it since. there is a tv commercial that has a 2 tone gold econoline that looks identical to the one i sold.
i asked once if this van (in pics)was for sale, during the time i had my 69 econoline.
