Slowly when time and funding permits, looking at the H.A.M.B., I've slowly converted my truck into something that I'm not embarrassed to be seen in.Still needs some help but I want it to be a little ruff so I'm not afraid to drive it. Before and after.
Need to fix the box sides their junk. The motor needs to be re-built same with the trans. re-paint after complete smooth out and new doors..... and the list goes on and on.
Looks alot better, and if you could lower the Grill/Rad to the height of the cowl top or a touch below it, the truck would look even better.
^ I agree. If the before is a "rat rod" then its a pretty nice one! I wouldn't give it that name though.
Thanks for the comments. I considered it a bit ratty after looking at some of the great cars and work that is featured on this site. I don't really see it as a rat or a hot rod, I just feel that the truck is finally heading in a direction I want it to.
The main influence to make my stuff better is seeing pictures of Mr. Jeff Norwell's beautiful 32 truck.
Hey, Master of None.....do it the way YOU want. Actually, I agree that it looks good before and after. A rat rod? Uh, nothing like what I have seen. But, you know, some of the rat rods aren't that bad. You see, I remember the 50s and there were some that were called jalopies, but nobody flamed them or the owners....too much. I like your truck.
Thats what I was thinking... so since my car has DP90 on it.... is it a Rat Rod? I like the truck but I think it was cool either way.
No satin or primerd cars are not rats! I have 2 others that are running DPLF. My truck had a bunch of unfinished welds and rust bleeding through. It was put together fast check my album on my page to see where I started from.
