I have to say, I have enough trouble keeping up with a part I just sat down in my garage, I can't imagine trying to work on a project in that much snow. I want to watch this build as you progress. Determined man you are, Good job.

I am getting real sick of "rat rods", at first it was kinda innocent and it was just a couple guys with shitty cars no harm there. But now it has become a disease, I sold the old frame for this car, and the guy who baught it wanted me to do some work on it for him, he wanted me to cut a set of 48 wishbones in half and re-weld them at an angle so he could use the stock spring!!!!!!ahhh, and a whole bunch of other half ass shit. Then he asked about my 36 pick-up and wanted to know "WHY WOULD YOU PUT THE FENDERS ON IT IT WOULD BE A KILLER RAT ROD". I told him "anything 35 and newer should have fenders, there are only a few exceptions". He said "man,.. I'm gonna put me a 40 ford truck cab on this here frame and its gonna be awsome, I've been building street rods for years.......,man.... there ain't nothin wrong that."

Just because you have a truck cab, dosn't mean you should build a car out of it. I learned the hard way myself.

"Rat rods" (and there are some borderline cars that are well built, don't get me wrong) for the most part though are going to ruin our hobby, someone is going to get killed in one of those death traps and we (everyone) are going to get included into the punishment, because the everyday idiot that sees a traditional hot rod seems to think that its a "rat rod".

I don't have very much money, so I can't buy them all, but, everyone should join in and fight the good fight. Go buy that piece of shit on craigslist and part it out to someone who needs those parts, and use the ones you need.
