A lot of nice 57's posted here. That's mine in the avatar. 57 Custom 300, 292, Edelbrock 3x2, Comp cam, T-5 & 4:11. Every extra dime seems to go into it.[IMG]

Hi folks, I just recently bought Cool57's wagon "kit-car"...:D

Hoping to get it up and running soon with a SBF/AOD combo.

Then after the bugs are ironed out (& I've got some more cash!) a little customizing might be in order!

Always loved '57 Fords & also been a truck lover all my life so guess this is the best of both worlds for me! Been hand sanding this baby down in prep for it's new paint job! New floorboards, rocker & 1/4 panels!

i'm into my 57 .they look great black or red with a 351-c or FE or stroked 429 .i can definently live with it as is original 312 ftwo tone . about 16 years after first seeing my car and thru strange twists for along time now i have enjoyed it as my car and true 2nd owner.i forget ,but saved the name of a company in canada for fiberglass they use to make fiberglass bodys of the 57 fairlane.luckily some of the npd thunderbird parts can help to restore them.[IMG]
