I did not find the very common BBC exhaust manifold I need for my O/T chevy truck, But I did buy a complete 69 Honda trail 70 for $200. New el mirage/ Bonneville pit bike yeehaaw!!!
for your bbc exhaust manifold you should talk to my brother T. Scott he may have it and he is in the IE give him a pm he is on my friends stuff on here
It is sold. Just called the guy. Wishful thinking on my part that no one bought it, but you never know. Now I am kicking myself for not going this morning.....!!!!!!!!!!!! Needed to spend some family time. Oh well. That would have been a great family car for me. I have been looking for a wagon, something like that for a while now..... No Raider Nation at Long Beach.... car parts only BTW, Long Beach is next Sunday and the 10-day weather report looks good
Thanks for the pic's Bob. looks like there's a lot of good stuff and good prices out there............ The Groucho thing was hillarious. Gary
Thanks for the pics. You made me realize that I need to get off my ass and head over there one of these times. Been too long since I have been there.
Thanks for the picts Bob! I saw Groucho after he took the sign off...then I saw your car in back...I knew it was a Bad Bob day!
wtf are the references to 'raider nation'? are they all painted up in silver and black, or is that a euphemism for something else?
we all know what the reference is too... it's all the low riders that park in the back by the bleachers and bring their cars, food, and music and make a day of it, and why that pisses some people off is beyond me.. I walk by some of the cars and wonder how many millions of hours it took to iron out the sheet metal and paint work. and all the time searching out the period correct accessory parts. I'm into traditional hot rods but as a car guy in general I can appreciate all the work that is put into a car no matter what kind it is. these guys definitely put in the time and money and makes me wonder who's really the hardcore car guys? Bad Bob is my friend this is his post and I don't want to turn this into a forum of why you don't like low riders! I just thought I would shed some light on the raider nation thing. at the end of the day isn't what we all want to be with our cars friends and family?
