I was going through a few files on the computer and noticed some pic of engines I had taken at a car show. Maybe it would be cool to see some other pics of some old engines.
In my humble opinion, the coolest production intake manifold..... the Long Ram on the Chrysler 300 413.
Here are some more! Any one need a tool to resize pictures? Having your images a small file size will not take a long time to upload to this site.
Here is a link to a free resizer tool from MS. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/Downloads/powertoys/Xppowertoys.mspx Scroll down, the down load is on the right. This tool enables you to right click on an image in your files and resize the image to 4 different sizes without changing the original. Here are more pictures!
I worked at a small used car lot in '65 and there was a '61 Dodge 4dr that had ram log manifolds on it. The car was real plain. He got a lot af his cars from the state auction so I always thought it was a trooper car. I sure was surprised when I opened the hood. He also had a '58 Delray 4dr with a 3 deuce 348 that had the front and rear carbs blocked off.
I like it. Thanks to all for posting pics. I got a chrome valve cover and dip stick for my 194 6. Gonna paint the engine and stuff and get the chrome on this spring, maybe I'll post some pics then. Anybody got pics of 194-250 Chevy 6's to help inspire me...
How about this very rare ad showing a pre-production '51 Henway "Double-Inclined-24"!!!! (Ok, I fess up...it's a bogus ad that I made up! The engine is really a late-WWII, experimental Allison V-3420 aircraft engine!) ------------ Mart3406 (Official Henway Motors Corporate Historian and Archivist) ========================

Hooked on the early Olds V-8's. Found a freshly rebuilt 324 on ebay from a shop closing up to retire. No reserve, $305 ! ! ! ! Pulled the 90 k + engine and flopped in the new for a fraction of it's value. Made it look good to me................
