Not really a full-on "ass shot" -- I don't have one -- but you get the idea. I'm struck by how much alike most of us are. But now you guys got me thinkin' about a nerf bar of some kind. Hmmmmmm....
I am planing on running fenders, and wondered if any one had 32 bumpers on there A. There are some good looking Model A's out there.
Glad you started this thread, kdtjb. Making mental notes. One of the posters mentioned how similar they all are, but I think it's neat that even while being similar, each one still manages to be unique. Good to compare differences, and see exactly what really makes them unique. It's amazing what a 1/2" difference in placement of tail-lights, licence plate, etc. can make, even when using the same components. Look at the cars using teardrop '39 tail-lights...some have the bottom tip a short distance from touching the character-line, while others actually touch it. Just personal preference, but I like 'em touching...makes the lights seem like an embelishment to that line, instead of a separate design-element. I still like 'em all though. Nice cars, guys.
Picture of my coupe from detroit last weekend...kinda along the same lines as EVEL's coupe... Built the nerf and brackets...the tailights are '58? Dodge royals... photo by SLIMPICKENS here on the hamb TH
Fenders were bobbed (and trimmed) to hit a visual line with the aftermarket deuce tank installation. I think A rear fenders just don't look good at their stock length without at least a bumper or something to keep them from looking like muttonchops. dj
