With most of my wounds healed and the majority of pain relieved. Along with months of treatment, my doctors told me I could possibly make a full recovery.

And all is lost because somebody just couldn't let this thread die, much like the vehicles being posted.

So now its time for me to take a ride back to the nervous hospital with the nice guys in white suits...:D

Spotted this on Kelley's Island last fall, think it's a '40 heavy truck, still had the flattie in it.

Here are a couple I found sitting inside the city, in a little grassed area. not as old as the ones you guys are posting, but still made for a nice little photo op.

This looks to be a pink '70 Duster? Looks pink in the picture anyway. I see the fender tag is still present. That would tell the story.

It looks to be '70 Duster. It also has a high impact color...Panther Pink/Moulin Rouge. Very rare color for any mopar of that era...

This site has many cars sitting, makes one sad... http://carsinbarns.com
Most are muscle cars, but there is a section for classics...

Does a single-seat aircraft count? Found this thing today, less than 2 miles from my house.

ah ok. I see now. that foglight, or turn signal. whichever it is.

  18. This is a lousy photo but here is a 38 Ford coupe up on the hill on a farm near me.Been sitting there for many years.I contacted the guy but he won't sell it.He thinks its in good shape but it is already sunk into the ground up to the frame. Its just barely savable now.

This sat in Belville Mi for decades,.... the doors and decklid were laying inside it.

I got it about 8 or 9 years ago,.... It ended up going to Roy in Mass. anybody know what happened to it ? (It was really rough,... but repairable)

People dont have to sell their cars I suppose, even though they will never do anything with them. Some may keep them just to have or for sentimental value...

...But atleast put a damn cover over them, to protect them...

Here are a few that I've collected over the years...

The 1937 Adler Lemans race car and the guy I bought it from. The 68 Olds 442 I bought for $5,000 that had W-30 "D" heads on it that I sold by themselves for $5,000 so I got the car for free. A buried 1958 Buick Limited convertibe. A couple of old Chevies I rescued. And a 67 RS/SS 375hp 396 4spd car.

These were recently unearthed from blackberries, just to tease as they will never see a road again, at least not until the owner dies. This time next fall they will probably not even be visible ....again
