Louver the hood, put some nice traditional steelies on it, leave it solid blue. Thats my opinion

1-Shot Slinger hit it dead on. Car looks great with the scallops and supremes.

Why dont you build it the way you want instead of asking everyone else, show some creativity are you building the car for everyone or for yourself

Whoa there! You might want to do a search, and see for yourself if my builds show creativity, before you post like that.

This is a car that I will drive for a while and sell, not one I'll have forever. When my '38 Lasalle is done, this one will be sold. I like the traditional flames. 8.82% of the HAMB agreed.

Since I know I will sell it in the future, does it make sense to paint it like that, and alienate 91% of the buying market?

Thought you might like to see another paint job. This was done on a 58 Impala model car by Zed

    Amen!

58 Chevrolets should NEVER have flames.........The Late Great Gods would be very angry with you.

I know, they put my 58 Chevy into scallops as well.:D

If and when I get to finish it, it won't be black. EVERYTHING I own is in black and I'm just SO tired of the upkeep. So I'm going with the new version of Ford's Limegold....I think.

Well, I'm getting sent to PA., for work, so it looks like this will get put on hold for a month ot two. I got the suspension all redone, and added a tri-power, tranny cooler, and brake cylinders.

A little paint, and this will be ready for summer!

i love flames amd louvers but NOT on that car. if yer doin it at home and can do flames it would'nt be any more work to do scallops... i say lowered with Astros, chrome steelies or even stockers with cool caps and a medium width white wall. that would be righteous!
