Had to have the head redone on my shop truck so I figured while the valve cover was off and clean I might as well play with some gold leaf...don't pay attention to how beat up it is, wasn't important enough and didn't have time to straighten it out, nobody will ever see it anyway unless it breaks again...
Just needs a little outline stripe around the outside. Kool though. Will gold leaf withstand under hood temperatures?
I don't know if it will last under hood or not. This was one of my first attempts with it. Once the snow melts I hope I can get out and get the truck running and find out...
