Again, the lettering will be hand painted, but I'm not going to just tell someone to "go for it". The car needs to have it's logo be of a certain era, like the rest of the construction and as a lifelong designer I'm not trusting enough to just let someone wing it.

That said, I'm definitely not opposed to a sign painter designing something for me to approve and then "going for it."

Any suggestions in the Nor Cal Bay Area????

If you were a "real" designer you would only be thinking about Helvetica...

Is this the one that you and Ryan are driving in the "Great Race" across the USA?

    Looking good.

I think you are overlooking the obvious, Matt painted up his van. Come on, give him a few beers and let him do it. :D Actually, I like that van and the graphics too.

If I can paint a tricycle on a truck door, you can paint numbers...

Seret, I just checked out your blog and your site. I had no idea you were responsible for that T coupster? You've got talent, man.

  13. I love the paint booth! Are you looking for '40 or '46-'48 ford drums and hubs? and a pair of fronts? or a set of fronts and rears?

  14. double ditto....although, just to really screw up this thread how about converting the red to a maroon.....('ford Spec M-636 Royal Maroon');):D

Cheers, and look forward to seeing it in color,

    Drewfus:)

I need front drums and hubs. I think '40 or '46 would be fine.

Rears need to be the '40 style where the hub/studs come out so the converted 9" axle flanges and studs can go through.

    Nothing?

I thought it was pretty good, but then I am the type to enjoy a good font joke (or pun).

Another vote for Bruce. If not, Eric Reyes out of Sonoma is beyond bad ass.

Dave is an absolute ruler. I love his work and he's an awesome person. I'll keep him in mind too if we don't do it ourselves.

I don't have his number anymore.

Try a different Font. Maybe like Kevin Lee's "Spun"

The Font you are using looks like just another vintage race Font.

Come on artist you just can't handle letting someone else paint it and reap the applause!

Oh wait i lost my head:eek:

Isn't this is what the HAMB brotherhood is all about?

    hahahahhaahahahahhaahaha...................................

    looks good
