Fairmont, WV - Used to race and work at Eldora Dragway which was about 3 miles from where I live. You could hear the cars racing at my house. Looking for anyone who may have old pictures from there.
Two mi. west of I-77 between Charleston and Parkersburg. Back in the mid '60's thru the early '70's we used to run at Proctorville on Sat. nites and Winfield on Sundays except for the two years I spent with Uncle Sam.
There are several H.A.M.B.'ers in the Charleston, WV area. I usually post a thread on here a few days before we get together. We usually meet for lunch or dinner at various local places each month. Our last gathering was for pizza in December at my garage, The Hot Rod Grille. Here are a few pics from that gathering. We plan to go to the World of Wheels in Huntington, WV in early March. Jim
I live in South Central Ohio about an 1 1/2 hour from Parkersburg or a couple of hrs from Charleston. Step daughter played basketball for Wheeling Jesuit, so I have been to about every town that had a college in it.

From Valley Grove nere Wheeling, race at steel valley dragway every week run a high 11 second jeep wagoneer in pro.
Since it's your car, you should know, but actually it was not the one that did "mark it's territory" that day! That was a great outing and looking forward to doing it again in 2010. Jim
